  • Weight

2. How to improve fertility

Luckily, there are also many ways that fertility problems can be treated and even reversed in couples who are struggling to conceive. One of the best ways to improve your fertility is to make changes to your diet and lifestyle.

It is surprising how much dietary and lifestyle changes can affect many aspects of our life and health. For example, by making a few changes you will not only improve your fertility, but you will also be able to reduce the amount of weight that you have, gain more energy, and solve many other issues that you have been struggling with as well.

Nutrition

The first and most important step in reversing infertility is to work on your nutrition. These days, almost everyone is undernourished even though they are typically of weight. This simply does not give the body the foundation that it needs to sustain and create a pregnancy.

While it has been shown that reducing weight can help improve fertility, switching to a low-fat and high-fiber diet may not be the best option because you will not be receiving the amount of protein and fat that is needed in order to produce the right types of hormones for pregnancy.

Instead, make some simple switches, such as:

  • switch grains for fruits and vegetables
  • consume healthy fats such as coconut, eggs and avocados
  • protein should come from grass fed meats
  • do not consume processed dairy
  • drink lots of water

For many women, nutrition alone is not enough to reverse infertility that there are many lifestyle changes that can be made as well. For example, you should make sure that you are getting enough sleep because this is important when you are producing hormones.

You should also make sure that you are getting enough exercise as well. Keep in mind that exercise is helpful, but it is important that you avoid exercising to the extreme because this can actually cause you to have more issues with fertility. It is suggested that women participate in several hours of low impact recreational activities, such as walking or swimming.

You should also look to get rid of stress that may be hindering you from become pregnant by looking for ways that you can relax. While this alone has been extremely helpful for some couples, it will not be effective for everyone even though reducing stress is a good idea during the pregnancy process.

Supplements

There are also a number of supplements that you can consume to help reverse infertility and many of them are available over-the-counter at your local drugstore. One thing that is extremely important is that you avoid taking any supplements with your fertility drugs, birth control pills, and hormone treatments. They can have a negative effect on each other and it is important that your doctor knows about these supplements and medications that you are taking.

3. Conclusion

Often times, the answer to infertility is complicated and even a doctor will not have all the answers. However, many couples have found that making simple lifestyle or changes to their diet has proven to be successful in reversing infertility.

If you are looking to become pregnant but are nervous about taking fertility drugs, it may be a good idea for you to try out some of these methods for yourself before turning to a medical solution. They have proven to be successful in the past and it is likely that they will be helpful for you as well.

Be careful when and how you use it

I bought into the hype and broke down and tried this product. After all, how can you resist something that claims that the fat is literally taken out of some of the food that you eat! I must say, though, pay attention to the directions on the package. I used it for a few days with none of the negative effects that many people experience. But during those times I ate fairly healthy meals and nothing too fatty. Then I went out with friends and didn't think about the fact I had taken these pills. I ate chicken wings, blue cheese and french fries. And spent most of the night and a good portion of the next day with several occasions of racing to the bathroom because of digestive issues. I suppose it shows that it does remove "stuff" from your diet because I sometimes have issues going at all and with using this product I went several times a day. But is it worth the risk? Besides, I have no idea if taking the pill was making a difference in my weight loss or if I was having success because I was being more careful in my food choices leading to lower calorie intake.

Weight Loss through Fear of Embarrassment

Was excited to try Alli, heard such great things. Did not see anything for the first couple days I took this. Then came the HORRIBLE side effects. Oily, greasy residue in your underwear and the toilet, and the smell. Oh my gosh. It was awful. Talk about eating healthy - for fear of what this will do to you. Didn't even finish the first bottle it was so terrible.
