Can you get Pregnant if no Period for a Year
Many women, for several different reasons, don’t have a regular period. In fact, some women go without having a period for months or even years at a time. These women often (mistakenly) think that they are infertile.
However, women can still ovulate when they do not have a period, and women can still have a period if they do not ovulate. Many women have hormonal problems such as estrogen deficiencies that keep them from having periods but they are still able to ovulate and get pregnant.
This can come as a big surprise for many women who do not think that they are able to get pregnant because they are not having a regular period. If you are not having periods but want to know if you are still fertile, you should start trying to track your ovulation to find out if you are ovulating like you should be.
You can start by trying to track your cervical mucus to see if it is the consistency of egg whites. This is the cervical mucus that is fertile. You can use a basal body thermometer to track your temperatures and look for the small spike in your temperature that precedes the LH surge, right around ovulation time.
You can also purchase an over the counter ovulaton predictor kit so that you can test every day to see when you are ovulating. If you find out that you are ovulating, then you will know when to time sex for pregnancy. If you do not see that you are ovulating, it is a good idea to see your doctor to determine what your problem might be.Can you get Pregnant if no Period for a Year,
