When you’re looking to become pregnant with twin girls, you will find that there are a couple of major challenges they go along with this process. The first issue that you will face is becoming pregnant with twins at all, and the second is attempting to have a gender specific pregnancy.

However, there are many things that people have done in the past and that they say will help improve your chances of becoming pregnant with twin girls naturally and without the need for artificial items or genetic factors. Below are some of the methods that others have tried and found to be successful.

1. Genetic factors

For women who come from a family that have a steady supply of twins in the family tree, it may be easier for them to conceive twin girls than it would be for women who do not have this luxury. While the steps listed below will increase the chances of a woman becoming pregnant with twin girls when she has the genetic factor on her side, they have also been shown to improve the chances of a woman who does not have twins in her family as well.

2. Yams

Not only are yams recommended for women who are struggling to have a regulated ovulation cycle, but they have been shown to increase the chances of having twins. In fact, there is a tribe in Africa that gains much of their sustenance from a yam like vegetable and has the greatest number of twins in the entire world.

After this point, your ovulation cycle should be regulated and your body will be ready to become pregnant. You should continue eating yams throughout the period of time that you are trying to become pregnant.

3. The weight factor

Another way to improve your chances of having twins is to have an excessive weight. It has been shown that women who are overweight have the ability to produce more hormones in their body that can improve your chances of becoming pregnant. However, being overweight can also increase your chances of having issues becoming pregnant at all.

4. Planning for a girl

When you are looking to have a girl, the time when you have intercourse is extremely important. Since female sperm are heavier and live longer, they are also much slower when they are swimming. It has been shown that while male sperm can live in the body for only about 24 hours, the female sperm are still present after 72 hours.

After this point, you will need to avoid having intercourse until after you ovulate. This will give male sperm the time that they need to die off so that you will be able to have twin girls rather than boys.

Acidic food is also something that can improve your chances of having girls because it can create an environment that is not suitable to male sperm. Research has shown that female sperm tend to live longer in an environment that is more acidic and by consuming these types of foods you will be able to improve your chances of having twin girls when you become pregnant.

5. Conclusion

It is important to realize that becoming pregnant with twin girls may be extremely difficult to accomplish. While the items listed above can definitely improve your chances of becoming pregnant with twin girls, there is no guarantee with any method that is available. Most often, becoming pregnant with twins or a certain gender is completely left up to chance and you should be careful not to be disappointed if you find that your hard work to not pay off in this instance.

There are many reasons that a couple would want to become pregnant with twin girls and it is natural for some to attempt to improve their odds. While this situation may be stressful for some couples, it is actually preferred for many others and finding ways to improve your odds can be well worth the effort that you put into it.

Be careful when and how you use it

I bought into the hype and broke down and tried this product. After all, how can you resist something that claims that the fat is literally taken out of some of the food that you eat! I must say, though, pay attention to the directions on the package. I used it for a few days with none of the negative effects that many people experience. But during those times I ate fairly healthy meals and nothing too fatty. Then I went out with friends and didn't think about the fact I had taken these pills. I ate chicken wings, blue cheese and french fries. And spent most of the night and a good portion of the next day with several occasions of racing to the bathroom because of digestive issues. I suppose it shows that it does remove "stuff" from your diet because I sometimes have issues going at all and with using this product I went several times a day. But is it worth the risk? Besides, I have no idea if taking the pill was making a difference in my weight loss or if I was having success because I was being more careful in my food choices leading to lower calorie intake.

Weight Loss through Fear of Embarrassment

Was excited to try Alli, heard such great things. Did not see anything for the first couple days I took this. Then came the HORRIBLE side effects. Oily, greasy residue in your underwear and the toilet, and the smell. Oh my gosh. It was awful. Talk about eating healthy - for fear of what this will do to you. Didn't even finish the first bottle it was so terrible.
