Can I get Pregnant with Large Fibroids?

Many women who have fibroids are able to become pregnant without any type of treatment at all. However, this may not be the case for women with large fibroids. One of the issues that women face when they have large fibroids is that the fibroids actually compress their fallopian tubes.
The danger in this is that the egg may not be able to travel through the uterus in order to become fertilized. Another issue is that sperm may be prohibited from reaching the egg even if it does make it to the uterus. Fibroids can be so large that they block the path that the sperm must travel.
Sperm can also be effected by fibroids if they cause the uterine cavity to grow extremely large. This can make it harder for them to fertilize the egg because of the greater distance that they must travel. By the time that they reach the egg, there will be very few sperm left that are viable options for fertilization.
Most women with large fibroids must have them removed before they are able to conceive. However, after the fibroids are removed, the majority of women are able to return to their natural fertility and conceive as normal. Can I get Pregnant with Large Fibroids?, 3.5 out of 5 based on 2 ratings
